About Us

Overview

Open only to our friends. Spend a relaxing vacation in Ken and LuAnn's spacious lake house on 350 acre Lake Bunganut. Less than 2 hours from Boston. 4 bedroom, 3 ½ bath House sleeps 8 (2 Queens, 1 Full, 2 twins). All the modern conveniences tucked by gorgeous, crystal-clear and warm, Lake Bunganut. Have your coffee in the screened-in porch overlooking the lake. Relax and read a book by the lake side. Nap in the hammock. Go for a swim. Take out the Kayaks, paddleboard or canoe. Enjoy a bike ride or a walk. Get some sun on the private 2nd floor deck. Do a jigsaw puzzle. Listen to the Loons.

In the evening, grill some food, play a game with the family on the large kitchen table, make a fire in the Solo stove and sip the drink of your choice. Play table shuffleboard or practice your putting in the game room.

Experience the darkness and see a spectacular night sky. Get up early if you want to see a tremendous sunrise over the lake. If you need to do some work we have a portable desk available. If you get tired of relaxing there is plenty to do in the local area- local Breweries, restaurants, golf and mini golf, bowling, movie theater, lobster pounds, shopping, etc. The great city of Portland is about 35 minutes away.

Rooms

4 Bedrooms: Master Suite-1 Queen Bed with slider to the large Porch overlooking lake, brand new bath with walk-in shower. Junior Suite- 1 Queen Bed, full bath. 3rd Bedroom- 1 Full Bed with slider to Porch, 4th Bedroom- 2 twin Beds with slider to Porch. Additional Full bath upstairs, 1/2 bath downstairs. Large living room, large Kitchen with a table that easily seats 8. Game Room. Screened in porch with ample seating overlooking the lake, Full deck on the 2nd floor for privacy and sun. Brand new aluminum dock. 3 Car Garage

Amenities

Full kitchen with Dishwasher, stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee makers (Keurig and Drip). Washer and Dryer. Internet. Large Living room with plenty of seating. 55" cable TV (Netflix, Hulu and Amazon TV) with SONOS sound bar and SONOS music. Weber Grill. Game room with 9 foot Shuffleboard table and a 10 foot putting game. .

Pets are welcome- additional cleaning fee may be required.

Recreation

4 kayaks, 1 paddleboard, 1 canoe, Plenty of Life vests. 2 docks for swimming, Solo Stove. Hammock. Plenty of Adirondack chairs and chaise's. Outdoor table.

Feel free to bring your own bikes and water toys. (power boats require notice as this lake has no public access for boats, may not be available at all times, call for details)

Great starting point to explore Portland (great food, breweries, SeaDogs baseball, etc.) and the surrounding areas of Southern Maine.
